It is called CPVC Ball Valve as they are used plumbing systems and specifically where Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride Piping are involved. It is made of a spherical disc with a hole (also known “Ball”) through it’s center. The valve opens and the hole in the line comes in alignment with the pipe which further allows the fluid or water to flow through it and when the valve is closed the ball rotates 90 degree thus blocking the water flow.
Mostly this CPVC Ball Valves are used in commercial, residential plumbing systems as they are durable, have high chemical resistance, and it can easily handle high temperatures. It replaces PVC ball Valves as they are unable to work at high temperatures as CPVC Ball Valves can work. It is available is different sizes as per the different plumbing system required and applications.
